Thank you for supporting the
"A Place to Worship" campaign

LET'S REOPEN HOUSES OF WORSHIP, SAFELY

We’re happy to report that we’ve made significant progress.

Earlier this week, faith leaders met with Premier Doug Ford, Minister of Health, Christine Elliott and Chief Medical Officer, Dr. David Williams. The exchange was respectful and productive. On Friday afternoon, the province announced that, as of Monday, March 15, 2021, restrictions on places of worship in the Grey (Lockdown) Zone will move from a hard cap of 10 people to 15% capacity of the worship space.

We want to thank you for your support and engagement. More than 13,000 letters from concerned citizens throughout the province were sent to MPP’s in the past week. You’ve made a difference!

We will continue to advocate for the essential ministry, care and outreach offered by places of worship. Once again, thank you and should we need to reach out in the future, we hope you’ll join us.

A Place to Worship is an initiative of the Archdiocese of Toronto.
